Scott-Bennett Inc., the predecessor firm to Scott-Bennett, LLC, was established in 1988, with a model unique to the search industry. That is, the Principals conducted each stage of the search process, allowing for high-touch service and an ability to gain market knowledge and insight that is unparalleled in our respective specialties. We maintain that same approach today, and have for over three decades. We do this by limiting our searches to a handful of assignments at any given time.
In 2020, when Ellen Klein retired, Susan Taylor and Robert Shainheit formed separate entities to pursue their own well-established and specialized practices. Robert founded Cambio Systematic LLC where he concentrates on systematic investments. At Scott-Bennett, LLC, Susan focuses exclusively on wealth management, marketing and distribution.

A well-orchestrated search leads naturally to successful negotiations and closure. Throughout the process, we work carefully to build rapport with each candidate, to understand his or her motivations, and to maintain momentum. When it comes time to gain the final candidate’s acceptance of an offer, potential hurdles have already been cleared.
Sue Taylor co-founded Scott-Bennett in 1988, after four years of experience at an international search firm. As a seasoned recruiter in the wealth and investment management sectors, Sue advises senior management on the recruitment of key talent. Earlier in her career, Sue held positions in marketing and sales at Prentice Hall Inc. and E.F. Hutton & Company. She is a graduate of Miami University, Ohio, with a B.S. degree in Marketing. Coming from a family of professional musicians, on weekends, you may find Sue playing her harp around Fairfield County with other ‘wannabe’ musicians.
